Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have 11 students with learning disabilities such as Autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and SLD. My students are amazing! they work very hard every day to overcome their challenges. They love to learn, even when it is difficult for them to focus when the environment it's overwhelming.

What I love about my students is their positive attitude and perseverance.

Their face lights up when they suddenly get that concept that was so hard to get. I am so proud of my students!

My Project

This wonderful and comfortable wobbly chairs, flex space comfy chairs and cushions will support my students to stay focused. They will be able to read comfortable and attend the lessons.

Due to the pandemic, in-person learning will look very different for some time.

This is a great opportunity to rethink what we consider to be learning space. We will be able to move around and take our flexible seating with us wherever we need to go in order to learn. It could be on the carpet, desks, or even outdoors on the lawn.

I can't wait to see my students back to school using flexible seating!
