My Project
My students are part of the ASD NEST program. In Kindergarten, we have very wiggly bodies, and having flexible seating options will help my students to focus and be the best learners that they can be. COVID-19 impacted our students both positively and negatively. On the other hand, many students got used to working from the comfort of their couches, beds, and floors at times, so many of our littles are struggling to sit in hard classroom chairs. Having flexible seating in the classroom will continue to ease the adjustment from home to the classroom. Adding flexible seating throughout the classroom will hopefully allow students to feel that they are in a safe, educational environment.
