My Students

Next school year I will have 30 students from all over the city of Menifee and Winchester to join my third grade class for our second year at our STEAM/magnet school. The students who are bussed from all over the city have come to this school to get the STEAM experience. They have come to be innovators, to build things that haven't been invented yet. They are innovator that can do anything they put their mind to with hard work and a teacher who motivates them to do their best.

My Project

Opening a BRAND NEW school is not easy. There are many things that need to have thought put into them. From technology to the play structure, resources are needed to create a flexible and collaborative school.

I would love to be able to provide flexible seating options for my amazing third graders at our new school

I am asking for a few specific things. I am requesting bean bag chairs, so that my students do not have to sit in traditional seating. I am also asking for lap trays, these will be helpful when they have chosen the option to sit on the rug. I also am wanting camp chairs so that my students have a more comfortable chair to sit in while working. In my order, I have requested items that will allow my student to work in a way that is not traditional but in a way that they are comfortable with working. What better thing can a teacher do for her students, who have come to a school to innovate and create in their classroom? Allowing students the opportunity to have other options than a "traditional desk" will make their learning experience more amazing then ever.
