Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are in a Title 1 school. They are inquisitive youngsters whose quest for knowledge keeps on evolving. Our young learners have ability, talent, creativity, and perseverance to spare. Moreover, they love demonstrating to their classmates their understanding of science concepts.

My Project

The teacher chairs will serve as chairs for students when they earn "Teacher for a Day!" Being a teacher for a day is a great incentive that my students can earn throughout the week. Students will have a separate space in the classroom where they get to teach, and provide feedback to their peers alongside the teacher.

Cleaning products play an essential role in our daily lives at home and in our classrooms.

The removal of contaminants prevent the spread of infectious diseases and help us to stay healthy. I am asking for cleaning products to keep my classroom clean.

My middle school classroom sees 6 different groups of students each day and cleaning the desks between each session is essential to all of our safety.

Donating to our project will help my students use the disinfectant spray and Clorox wipes to clean their desks prior to seating and after occupying the space for an activity. The disinfectant sprays will also be used to disinfect classroom supplies and laboratory equipment that the student groups share during science labs.
