My Students

The students in our classroom are compassionate, creative, and enthusiastic learners with a love for education. We incorporate a variety of strategies to help reach all the different levels and types of learners in our classroom. The students have all different learning styles; kinesthetic, visual, and auditory and it is our job to ensure they can immerse themselves and access the material to the best of their abilities. The students support and challenge each other every day and are truly inspirational.

My Project

These materials are important to our students to help promote choice in an active and safe learning environment. Flexible seating allows the students to make choices where they work and feel most comfortable. It helps students to remain on task and stay focused and productive. Currently our students work throughout the classroom in groups on the floor, at tables, and at their desks. These different flexible seating options help to make sure students are comfortable; which is an essential component in motivating them. Choice allows the students to own their work and we can see how it positively affects their work demeanor with their productivity.
