This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students range in age from 3 to 12 and attend a Title 1 school. They come to see me in small groups. Many times we find ourselves sitting on the tile floor to work as a group, play educational board games, and do other activities. The tile floor is often cold, hard, and uncomfortable.

Having a rug with flexible seating options will make the experience much more enjoyable for everyone!

It will allow students of all ages to be comfortable while working on their speech and language skills in my classroom.
