My Project

I teach an amazing group of K-5 Special Need students. My students go to a Title 1 school and receive free breakfast and lunch. Many of the students at my school live at or below the poverty line.

My students have a variety of disabilities and learning styles.

I love coming to work each day and being challenged with what can I do to help my students learn more. I am very lucky that I get to teach my students for multiple years.

My students love to spin and bounce. Spinning and bouncing helps my students self regulate and many are able to stay focused on learning when given spinning and bouncing breaks.

The bouncy peanuts, rocking bowls, and spinning chairs will allow all my students to be given the opportunity to spin and bounce.
