Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Special education is a fun and unique experience with kids who vary in abilities and goals. Because I am an RSP teacher, my students come from different grades and very different backgrounds. All my students have very unique needs that will be met in various ways. Some students will be working on academic goals, while other students are working on behavior goals.

My students are very unique and bring so much personality into my classroom.

Each day is very different from the previous day and will be very different from the next day. Our classroom is like a family that unites all grade levels, where the kids can learn from each other and form bonds that will last a lifetime.

My Project

Flexible seating can be very beneficial in the classroom for children with special needs. It can provide gentle movement for a calming effect, making it ideal for individuals with autism, ADD or ADHD. It enhances focus and attention for fidgety or active individuals in the classroom.

By donating to our project, you will be helping students improve academic learning through flexible seating.

I have chosen a few different types of flexible seating in order to meet the needs of all students. I want to be able to give my students options when it comes to seating. Help make our classroom flexible! Thank you!
