My Project

My special needs student would benefit greatly from these movement chairs. Movement-based seating can help students who require more frequent sensory input to maintain concentration. These options encourage subtle movements that can aid in self-regulation, enabling students to better manage their sensory needs and remain on task. I am requesting a Flex-Space Comfy Soft Rocking Chair, Sit and Spin Wobble Chairs, Balance Ball Chairs, and more. These flexible seating options would allow them to move within reason during whole and small group learning time. These would be used daily during morning meeting, whole group lesson, and in small group stations. These chairs would also limit the amount of times my students have to leave instruction for movement breaks.
