My Students

What a joy it is to teach first grade! Each new school year, my students come to me with a wide range of skills, backgrounds, and unique needs. They come to school with a love of learning and exploring. It is so much fun to bring their learning to life!

My Project

First graders love to learn and move! Each child is different and what may work for one child, may not work for another. I want to be sure that I do all that I can to provide them with the best learning environment possible. I want to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved in our classroom, so they can enjoy a positive learning experience in an environment that fosters a love of learning.

Young children need to move and be comfortable as they learn!

This project will provide them with flexible seating options that will help them create their own individual workstations in the classroom.
