My Students

I will be teaching a class of multicultural fifth graders who are a mixture of ELD, special needs, and gifted students. They are eager students who are ready to learn and try their best.

More than half of our students come from low-income families who cannot provide them with the resources they need to help give their children the best education possible.

These students are the ones on the free or reduced-price lunch list.

My Project

Three years ago I decided to change my classroom setup to give the kids flexible seating options. Each year I have added something new to my classroom. This time I am focusing on my floor seating to give my students a little more back support.

My students have different learning styles therefore they benefit from differentiated instruction and have different learning style.

This is key to helping them succeed. I am asking for floor seats with backings to make my students more comfortable on the floor. These seats will be used year after year and will benefit future students as well. With your help, I can give my students what they need to be successful. Thank you for your support.
