My Project

As a kindergarten teacher it is so important that I give my students different options for sitting, listening, and working. For many students this is their first time in a classroom and having options other than a hard classroom chair to sit on is important.

Over the years I have learned that when kids are given an option on where to sit, they tend to be more responsive and their attention lasts longer!

During their independent work time I let them choose where and how they want to sit and complete their work. Giving them an option has always made such a positive impact in my classroom.
