My Project

Having new flexible seating options in the classroom makes my students excited and eager to learn. I strive to create a learning environment where my students feel comfortable and engaged and where they are able to make choices that best support their learning.

By adding these stools, I am continuing to build a flexible seating classroom that allows students to work in spaces where they feel most focused.

This will be a huge improvement over the makeshift seats I have created at home, giving them a sturdy and comfortable option that enhances their learning experience.

My goal is to create a classroom that every student wants to be in—a space where they feel comfortable, safe, and ready to learn. I want my students to feel empowered to make choices that help them succeed, and flexible seating is a great step toward fostering that independence. Above all, I hope to make my classroom a place where my students are happy and excited to come to school every day.

My students, many of whom come from low-income backgrounds, are incredibly eager to learn and grow. They bring energy, curiosity, and excitement to the classroom each day. Providing them with a space that supports their comfort and learning will help them continue to thrive in an environment where they feel valued and motivated to do their best.
