My Project

My second-grade students are full of energy and excitement for learning! They thrive when given choices in their learning environment. Flexible seating will allow them to move, collaborate, and find the best spot to stay focused. With your support, we can create a classroom where every child feels comfortable and ready to learn!

In our classroom, students work best when they have options for where and how they learn.

Traditional desks don’t always meet the needs of young learners who benefit from movement and comfort. That’s why I’m seeking funding for flexible seating options like wobble stools, floor cushions, balance ball chairs, and lap desks.

By providing a variety of seating choices, students can take ownership of their learning and select the spot that helps them concentrate best. Research shows that flexible seating improves student engagement, increases focus, and fosters collaboration. It also creates a welcoming classroom environment where every student feels valued and empowered.
