This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are eager learners, which I love. They are constantly moving to interact and engage with manipulatives and classmates alike. However, sometimes this can create disruptive or unsafe situations.

Currently, our standard student chairs require students to be still and stationary and do not allow for safe movement that growing kids need.

I would like to provide my students with seating options that give them SAFE mobility and allows me to offer instruction without having to stop to give reminders to sit safely. I also have students with various educational requirements that NEED to move while they learn. Wobble stools would offer inclusive opportunity to all my learners.
