My Project

This project will benefit students in a self-contained early childhood classroom. As each student will have their own diverse needs, I know that they will come into the classroom excited to learn something new each day!

One of the best resources that an educator can give students is flexibility in where they learn.

Some students may not be comfortable on the floor or sitting in a standard classroom chair, meaning they are not reaching their full learning potential. Students require various resources such as wobble chairs, stools and scoop chairs to help them learn throughout the day. Flexible seating can enhance peer collaboration and increase student engagement.

Although it is impossible to have flexible seating options for every student - students will learn that flexible seating is a choice, and they may need to rotate day by day, or center by center. By donating to this project, you will help students have the opportunity to learn in a more appropriate atmosphere!
