Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This coming school year, I will have the pleasure to be the math cluster teacher for grades K, 1 and 2 in my school. I work in a Title 1 school. My students are amazing, motivated learners that deserve the best quality education that money and training can provide. My school is located in one of the poorest communities in the Bronx. But I am lucky to be part of a school team that gives our students 100% every day. I envision a classroom where students share ideas and use reasoning to develop judgments and conjectures. These materials will help me do that!

My Project

These flexible seating options will provide my students with unique spaces where they can either work independently, with a partner or, in a group. My students will be thankful to have those colorful seats in their classroom.

Flexible seating create welcoming environments where different learning styles are welcome and encouraged.

These flexible seating options will bring a smile to my students' face each time they get to use them. Kids are different and they like different things. Having different types of seating give students options. These flexible seating will also allow my students to choose where they work and with whom.
