This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
The large colorful rug will be our gathering place for story time or our morning meeting. Each student will have a specific color to sit on. The flexible seating will be used in our reading center. The students can feel comfortable while they're reading their books.
The stool flexible seating will be use at my kidney shape table for small group.
The cushion flexible seating will be use at the word work center. Students will have the option of other seating instead of the just the desk and chairs.
The privacy folders are great to use when they are doing their independent work at their seats for a grade. That way their neighbor won't see their work.
I'm new to this school and I wanted a few easy read books to build my classroom library.
