My Project

I love the vast variety of personalities that I see in my students each day. My students all have different wants and needs when it comes to learning that differs from child to child.

Flexible seating in my classroom would make a huge impact on the ability of my students to focus during independent work time and stations.

In the past, I have noticed that standard seating (chair and table/desk) provides me with two outcomes regarding student engagement. I have seen kids who fidget in their seats and kids that fall asleep in their seats! Letting students pick their choice of seating will allow them to remain focused, yet engaged while being able to move at the same time.
