This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have succeeded thus far in providing flexible seating in my classroom. So far, the responses from students are incredible! My middle schoolers enjoy their seating options, other than a traditional desk and so far they have shown an improvement in work production and focus. They have told me they feel comfortable and relaxed entering my room and can focus better.

Flexible seating provides my students with the comfort and confidence they need to succeed in their learning.

Middle schoolers need space to spread out. They need room to collaborate. Changing the scene changes their attitudes towards learning. A big difference can be made with a few tables and chairs.
