Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Kindergarten is a time for fun and learning! But, how can you learn and focus when you are 5 or 6 and want to wiggle all day?
Flexible seating helps students with comfort, letting out energy, changing positions, and staying engaged while learning.
The wobble stools will be used in small groups allowing students to move and get energy out while listening and working.
The hexagon cushions will be used during carpet time to help students be more comfortable, sit up taller helping their necks and backs, allowing various sitting positions to help ankles and legs, and make sitting and learning more fun.
The chair bands are an incredible tool for students who benefit from fidgeting, have a lot of energy, or have difficulty focusing. These will go on every student desk chair so they may use them while working, allowing them to focus.
The stools will be used for small groups and center time. These stools give students something new and different. These stools will help their engagement, attention, and excitement about sitting. The colors are fun and the stools are easy to move if needed.
