My Students

Since becoming a teacher years ago, I have referred to my students as "my kids" because honestly, they are. What makes my students special is their individuality and care.

My 8th grade classes are a unique and diverse group of individuals who are enthusiastic and hardworking despite their daily challenges.

Each one shows an inspiring spirit within them that creates a passion for learning. They respect who they are inside and show the world what they are capable of because they are our next generation of amazing human beings.

My Project

Our classroom is our home away from home! By having flexible seating options as part of our classroom, it enables the students to think, act, and learn in a unique and proactive way when they are comfortable in their surroundings. Students will be able to work collaboratively and independently on projects and classwork while feeling at ease and stress-free​ as they enjoy their seating options.

Students will have the ability to sit on any seating of their choice, whichever works best to meet their needs, all the while learning in a positive and calming environment.
