My Students

Since becoming a teacher years ago, I have referred to my students as "my kids" because honestly, they are. What makes my students special is their individuality and care.

My 8th grade classes are a unique and diverse group of individuals who are enthusiastic and hardworking despite their daily challenges.

Each one shows an inspiring spirit within them that creates a passion for learning. They respect who they are inside and show the world what they are capable of because they are our next generation of amazing human beings.

My Project

Our classroom is our home away from home! By having dry erase tables as part of our flexible seating classroom, it enables the students to think, act, and learn at a unique and proactive way when they are comfortable in their surroundings. Students will be able to use the dry erase tables to work collaboratively to share their ideas and problem solve using dry erase markers.

Students will have the ability to sit or stand at the tables, whichever works best to meet their needs, all the while learning in a positive and calming environment.
