Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach a wonderful group of 3rd graders this year and as the year winds down, I am already thinking ahead to my future 3rd graders next school year! One thing my current students have longed for is more flexible seating options and ways they can comfortably complete the learning around the classroom.

The seat cushions, durable stools, and brand new headphones will allow them to freely and comfortably learn around the room!

Often times, students become restless at their desks and enjoy times when they are at my learning table, mingling with their peers at small tables, or sitting around the room. Unfortunately my room is only large enough for one rug so their often sitting on the cold tile floor; I think the cushions will help make their reading, math, and learning times much more comfortable!
