I work with a very dedicated, innovative, caring, and compassionate team of educators! My students are a unique team of caring and inquisitive learners. They have learned to believe in themselves through risk taking, a willingness to learn, and experiencing success and independence within the safe nurturing and supportive learning environment we created.
Every student in our class adds a unique and luminous touch to our group!
My students eagerly share their expertise with each other to help our class grow and expand their horizons. We celebrate a variety of cultures and know how important it is to support every student's individuality through acceptance; whether it aligns with our own interests or not.
"Ancora Umparo" is our motto as we are always learning! My students enjoy guiding their own inquiry, creating and solving puzzles, spreading kindness and appreciation throughout our school, and exploring their creativity! They impress me every day and make every day a new and exciting learning adventure for all of us!
My Project
Children thrive when they are empowered to make choices for themselves. As we return to in-person learning, it is essential to me to provide an emotionally safe and nurturing learning environment.
Covid restrictions limit group seating and require the children to be seated at a distance from one another.
I'd like to empower my students to select the type of seating most conducive to their learning and have the option to try a variety of options. If my project is fulfilled, my students will be able to accompany their flexible learning with flexible seating. They will be able to enhance their learning experiences, become more engaged in their daily explorations and learn from a variety of different seating options.
In addition, the EcoTank printer will allow me to print numeorous resources in color as well as tailor printed material to the individual needs of my students on the spot without having to submit and wait for copy requests. Plus the EcoTank is environmentally friendly as it does not use cartidges. One fill of ink can last over a year making 6-7K copies!
Fulfilling this project will help to ensure my students' emotional safety by allowing them to choose seating that feels right for them each day, and open a new learning portal full of possibilities for my students and me!
