This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my experience, KIDS DON'T SIT STILL! Some kids have more energy than others, but in general all students need an outlet for their energy while learning. As a 4th grade teacher, the leap from 3rd to 4th is actually huge, and the workload requires a lot more direct instruction moments. This is difficult beacuse I have several students with ADHD, and I have limited funds to afford enough flexible seating and fidgets for a class of 30. I have managed to buy 2 wobble chairs and some fidgets out of pocket, but I would love to be able to add more to my classroom, as I find them truly helpful. Please consider funding this project!
