This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. I want to provide students the options of where they want to learn and give them the ability to take charge of their learning environment. Throughout the last couple of years, I've tried my best providing them with pillows and a lap desk, but for this upcoming year, I want to do so much more!

I have seen how choice can positively affect my student's work and demeanor and hope that the additional options will help us grow even more!

I also want to provide my students with opportunities to express themselves, whether that is by painting or drawing I want students to be able to create!
