My students range in age from 6 to 8 years old, with a variety of ability levels and learning styles. We are transitioning to a new building next year, with a focus on e-STEM.
Our learners come from a wide range of ethnic and cultural backgrounds and experiences.
Having a safe, fun, and comfortable place to come and learn is of top priority for me as their teacher. Each and every day my students enter the classroom ready to learn with big smiles on their faces.
My Project
I firmly believe that in order to meet the ever-changing needs of all students, flexible seating like these yoga ball chairs and Hokki stools offer the best environment for today's active children. Today's children have completely different needs than even ten years ago. Changes in technology and societal demands have altered the way students think and learn.
Offering choices, including seating options, to students will empower them to become more focused, engaged, and motivated learners.
One of my goals is to create a safe learning environment where students can be free to grow, make their own decisions, and achieve in a manner that best fits individual needs.
