This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am thrilled to have the opportunity to serve as a lead teacher for the first time, and I am determined to provide my students with an exceptional learning experience. To create an engaging and supportive classroom environment, I am seeking your support for flexible seating options and calming corner materials.

Flexible seating has proven to be a game-changer in the education field.

By offering students the freedom to choose where they sit, we can enhance their comfort and focus. This approach helps them develop a sense of responsibility and independence while improving their overall engagement and productivity in the classroom.

Furthermore, I believe that a calming corner can significantly benefit students' emotional well-being. Many students face various challenges and may require a safe space to regulate their emotions and manage stress.
