My Project

My students are musicians and scholars who sometimes love singing and dancing around the room and other times need to buckle down and focus on their classwork and homework for other classes. These gifts to my students will amplify a more creative learning atmosphere. From the cozy stools where they can take a guitar and practice out in the hallway or the cozy floor seats, where they can read a book for a quiz they have later in the day, my students can have a variety of welcoming ways to utilize our large music space.

Organization is another key component of this wish list: I have requested a few organizers and creative ways for students to get feedback on in class assignments.

I’m also looking to give AP students an organized way to give feedback on their AP tests and homework that won’t take up Class instruction time. The organization bins will help me leave the feedback for the students to access and not have to pass back.

I am also requesting a mobile desk for myself to help deal with spinal lumbar disc issues that I’ve been diagnosed with. Sitting is a difficult option for me right now so a standing desk will help me be more interactive with the students as well.
