Flexible Seating and Math Manipulatives

Help me give my students flexible seating options to help them get their wiggles out while also working hard. We would also love to have fraction tiles to help understand fractions better!

My Project

I would love to add some wobble stools to my classroom that will help students be able to wiggle while doing work. I believe this will be beneficial more specifically to students who have a harder time sitting still or staying in their seats. I want to give them the opportunity to get movement without it being a distraction to others.

The other item I would love to have is sets of fraction tiles for every student in my room.

In third grade we introduce fractions and it is often times a hard concept for students. Having something they can manipulate and visually see would help them gain a better understanding.

This will be my sixth year as a teacher. All 6 years have been at my small school district that I love! I graduated from the school I teach in, and always knew I wanted to come back and be a teacher here! I would appreciate any help I can get! Thank you!
