My Students

The students at our school are creative, independent, critical thinkers. They enjoy collaborating together while learning in the classroom, playing soccer and four square, and learning new languages. We are a diverse community that celebrates the many cultures, languages and perspectives that our students bring to school every day.

It is all of the knowledge and experiences that our students bring to school that make our classrooms such a vibrant place for learning.

Our school has served generations of families who value the strong presence and continuity that the school has provided in an ever changing urban neighborhood.

My Project

My students love to be at school, and are excited to be back learning together in person. I'd like to help our classroom be a welcoming place for all by having more flexible seating options for students.

My students enjoy using the Hokki stools because they can move their bodies in a way that helps them focus.

Students also want to be able to keep their math materials organized. New storage bins will help us keep our math manipulatives and math tools all together and easy to get when we need them.

I have also requested some new paper trays for students to be able to access and turn in assignments, and to help me stay organized with our lessons. Thanks for helping our classroom community.
