Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The seating that I am requesting is for my antsy students who have a hard time staying seated in a traditional chair. It gives them an opportunity to move their bodies while sitting with the teacher during teacher led activities or working independently at their desk. For some students this could be truly life changing.

Headphones with microphones are a must for students learning English.

It allows them the opportunity to interact and respond with the Imagine Learning Reading Program the District requires them to use daily. Children are required to bring them from home but many of my students cannot afford them.

I love to teach making creative projects but unfortunately sometimes we just don't have the art supplies we need. Constantly restocking becomes quite expensive. Construction paper and glue are used almost daily and they become a staple in any primary classroom.
