This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Please help the amazing students at Central Elementary gain the resources they need to meet their learning potential. They require many hands on materials, as well as materials to engage them through different modes of instruction. Please help these bright students reach their absolute maximum potential by donating to our class projects! Any little bit helps! Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity, you are supporting our students to do great things!

My Project

These stools will help my students have flexible seating in order to work individually, with partners, and in groups during guided reading as well as guided math. They will also be able to move their stools from center to center around the room in order to reduce contact points due to COVID-19 school restrictions. The blue light covers will allow the students a more calming environment that is not overstimulating, allowing them to reach their maximum potential. The laminating sheets as well as contact paper will allow me to creating a welcoming and calm environment to engage students in learning for multiple years to come. The Kerplunk game will be used as a whole group positive behavior system. Each time the students follow directions and go above and beyond in our school community, I will remove a stick from the game. When all the marbles fall, the class will have earned classroom prize! This positive behavior system will be engaging as well as beneficial for all my future students!
