My Students

My students are so creative, funny, and full of personality. They come to school every morning excited about learning and anxious to see what they get to do. They try their best and are eager to show what they know. So many of them will even complete extra work on their own at home just for fun! It really makes me proud that my students are taking charge of their own learning at such a young age. We have so much fun together and they make me smile every day!

My Project

My students need tools such as soft seats and timers that will help provide options to make learning more flexible in our classroom. We want our students to have flexible seating options so they can be more comfortable while they learn. We do a lot of learning from the carpet and it might help some students if they were able to choose a different seating option. We also promote independence in our classroom. If students were able to time themselves while they read then they would be able to move on to the next activity independently. Additionally, we like to make learning fun! Having the option to have a friendly competition with buzzers would increase student engagement!
