My Students

I teach in a Title I building, where all students receive free breakfast and lunch as well as a snack. Many of these students receive a free sack of food to eat on the weekend as well. Even though these students have hardships, they are ready and eager to learn.

My early elementary students walk into my room everyday full of life and ready to tell me all about their adventure last night.

We work on social skills as well as academics in order to help these students achieve to their full potential.

My Project

Kindergarten students are always wiggling and wanting to move around throughout the day. In order to help facilitate this energy, flexible seating will help harness their energy in good ways. It will give them opportunities to move.

Students love to move around and should be encouraged to move while learning.

By providing options for students to sit in various types of places, it will allow students the opportunity to focus their attention on learning. Students will be able to move their bodies while applying their knowledge to the rigorous demands on them. Thus allowing them to achieve their goals in education.
