My Students

My students are ambitious, caring and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration! As a kindergarten teacher I couldn't have been more blessed with a group of wonderful diverse students. Their eagerness and drive of wanting to learn motivates me every day to provide them with many opportunities of and various ways to learn in order to meet their individual needs.

My Project

The Lakeshore wobble chairs, Flex space balance balls and floor cushions will help my students stay focused on their learning and give them an opportunity to be comfortable as they are learning. Children learn better when they are comfortable in their own space.

Students will be more interested to learn when their minds are relaxed and they are comfortable in their learning environment.

Providing them with an opportunity to choose where they want to sit gives them more ownership of their learning. The flexible seating will take away the constant desire for movement, giving my students a chance to concentrate on instruction.
