My Project

My students are creative, energetic, and eager to learn — but traditional seating doesn’t always support the flexible and engaging classroom environment they thrive in. That’s why I’m requesting a set of soft foam floor cushions to provide comfortable, flexible seating options that support small group instruction and learning stations.

These floor cushions are perfect for creating cozy, focused areas around the classroom where students can work collaboratively or independently; whether they’re participating in reading groups, working on hands-on activities, or rotating through learning stations, having the ability to sit comfortably and move easily from space to space supports both their focus and engagement.

Each cushion includes a built-in handle for easy portability, giving students the freedom to choose their best learning spot. This flexibility encourages student ownership of their learning and helps me as the teacher facilitate smoother small group instruction, as students are more settled, focused, and comfortable.

What makes my students special is their excitement for learning and their ability to thrive when given choice and movement. With your support, we can create a classroom environment that fosters creativity, collaboration, and comfort — one cushion at a time!
