Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The current tables in my classroom leave no room for arranging the space in a way that might best suit my students' needs. The tables are not only too big for our tight classroom space but also forcibly has students sit together though at times they need a space away from others to help them focus.

There are times for group work and then there are times for individual space: tables only allow for group work while individual desks allow for both - combining of desks for group work and separating of desks for individual space.

Furthermore, being able to move our desks around is a great way to re-energize a space. One of the ways I create a "fresh" start in my own home is when I re-arrange my space. Similarly, I would like to give my students that possibility to pick up their desk and move whenever necessary or needed. This project will allow for six more of my students for a total of eighteen to be able to set up their space for group work or for individual work. Thank you in advance.
