My Students

This upcoming school term I will have energetic students ready to learn and have loads of educational fun! Hyattsville Elementary is a neighborhood school where a large majority of our students walk to and from school with their friends and many with their parents. My class is very diverse and has a significantly large ESOL population. I love the diversity because it allows my students to be exposed to so many cultures. I can't wait to have a blast with my new crew!

My Project

Each school year my classroom is full of energetic children that love to be anywhere but their traditional desks and seats. For the upcoming term, I would like the students to have different options that peak the interest of their personalities and their individual needs. Students that enjoy sitting on the rug will need a comfy seat while they work. Students sitting at their desks may want a fun chair bounce on while they work. If comfort and fun will encourage them to participate and work harder, I'm all for designing something that makes them comfortable in our school home.
