This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Imagine having to sit still for over 6 hours per day! We adults are trained to sit still for long periods of time, children have a much harder time doing so. Students learn best when they have the opportunity to move and get all that bottled energy out of their system.

I am asking for a set of flexible floor seats so to give students the opportunity to move while learning.

I will use these floor seats during reading small group rotations. I strongly believe in flexible seating, and have found that students learn best when there is flexibility in their classroom environment, as well as individualized instruction. Please help me add these wonderful floor seats to my classroom.
