My Students

My students are eager, kind, and compassionate. They realize that everything in life is earned, not given, so they work tirelessly to earn everything they have. They take pride in their accomplishments and constantly seek out ways to help others. They hold each other accountable for respectful behavior. My students are some of the finest young people you could ever hope to meet.

My students are hungry for the arts, particularly theatre, which has helped them become confident, empathetic, and healthy risk-takers.

My Project

We are slowly and steadily building our resources for our theatre classroom. One challenge is that our classroom also doubles as a blackbox performance space for smaller, more intimate plays.

These stools will be a major space-saver in terms of storage, but also serve as great seats for our audiences during our blackbox performances.

They are much less cumbersome than traditional chairs, so we will be able to seat more guests in our small space.

At this year's blackbox production, "Arsenic and Old Lace," we anticipate about 50-75 audience members at each performance. The stools are small enough that we can use them on risers to maximize seating in our student section.
