This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
Our classroom is currently located in a temporary space outside of the main school building. This setup, while functional, presents some challenges for our students, particularly when it comes to storing and accessing their food items throughout the day.
To help ease these challenges and ensure our students have the best possible learning environment, we are seeking donations to purchase items such as a mini fridge and a microwave for our classroom, as well as cleaning essentials to ensure a safe and healthy space at all times.
Having these basics on hand will allow students to keep their food items secure and easily accessible, reducing the need for frequent back-and-forth trips and providing a more stable and supportive environment.
