Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We currently have 17 students in an ICT setting. Many of our students are English language learners and/or students with disabilities. We are currently creating an environment that fosters our students love for reading and also allows them to take charge of their learning. Creating a flexible seating reading nook for our student will not only allow them to be more comfortable while reading but will also allow them to take charge of their learning. This couch would provide them with another comfortable learning space in our classroom. We have seen the positive impact flexible seating has had on our students, they are noticeably more engaged during Instruction and independent work.
