My Project
At our school we are trying to build up the athletic community. Many of our students come from families where they did not get the chance to play team sports growing up. Many of the middle school students that I get to come out and play soccer have never played before and it is a brand new experiance for them. By the end of the season they love it and cannot wait to play again the following year. I would like to give them an even big feeling of what is like to be a team and a family by getting them these jerseys. They will all match and numbers and the school mascot, eagles, will be put on each jersey. Building up the sport world in a low income community is a goal I have as a coach. Being apart of a team does alot for a child especially when they are in their developing years of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. It improves their social skills, helps keep their grades up, and teachs them to work hard. Nice matching soccer jerseys would be the topping on the cake.
