Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My wonderful kids come from a low income area of the Las Vegas Valley. The majority of my students are transient, moving from place to place every year. Despite this, these amazing kids come into school ready to learn and strive to work hard. These kids are helpful, kind, and caring to each other. They support each other and focus on allowing others to achieve their goals. These kids deserve the tools which will allow them to be successful. Thanks!

My Project

This project allows students to work together to help learn basic skills. Students pair together to practice basic math skills and reading skills. The students love to help each other learn skills. This improves their social skills by allowing students to converse about what they are learning. This allow allows students to learn from each other and engage with their classmate. Another benefit of the partner work these items allow the students to do is to allow students with different skills to act as a teacher in the classroom and show what they can do. Thanks for all your support.
