Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students show a great interest in physical education. It is important to expose them to as many types of physical activity as possible.

My students have limited equipment to work with, so I would like to expose them to new activities.

I would like to introduce new activities, so we don't have to play the typical games like basketball and football. I think by introducing these activities, some of the students will continue to play these games as they enter middle school and high school. By adding new activities, I believe more students will enjoy physical education. I feel that this equipment will motivate my students to stay active and fit.

My Project

We will use the portable Bluetooth sound systems in Physical Education class and for all school activities. We also need the adapter to go with the sound system. Students will be able to hear music while working out. Anytime you are enjoying your workout, you are more likely to continue to work out outside of school. I know music will help motivate and improve fitness scores. Music makes life better. When we can combine music and Physical Education good things will happen. The Gamma Quick Balls will be used as free play on Fridays. These materials will help students improve and be more motivated. This will help change lives in our school. A healthy student has a better life, better grades, and enjoys school more. We can make a difference in the lives of these kids.

These materials will expose my students to new activities so they can get fit and energized.

It will help them to develop team work and fair play, and help them to become more active in their daily lives.
