Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are the hardest workers I know. They want to push themselves to be better everyday through fitness and other fun activities. Covid-19 had students behind a screen more than ever. Now that we are back in person its important to get them moving, especially through cooperative games and group activities to build those social skills that were limited by Covid-19.
Students need to be active while working together and these materials will help us be able to do more games and activities.
Hoola hoops will be used for relay races that we have as incentive for our students every quarter. Scooters will be used for various warm ups and fitness activities throughout class. Flags will be used for flag football. The agility ladder will be used for soccer, volleyball, flag football, cross country, track, and baseball drills for sports we provide at our school.
