My Project

Help make our kids more active and provide fitness opportunities for all! Building fitness knowledge in young kids is key to a healthier generation. By providing rowing machines into our PE classes, we will increase fitness knowledge but also give students the opportunity to participate with equipment that can improve upper and lower body strength.

Currently, the health of children is declining and what better way to encourage more movement than implementation of high intensity strength and endurance stations.

Rowers are an easy way to keep kids engaged, provide optimal exercise time and opportunity to participate in real life workout gym experience. Rowing Machines added to our gym will increase participation in fitness activities and give students an opportunity to build strong muscles and endurance during their PE classes.

Rowing machines also allow kids of all ages and abilities to participate. With very few modifications, these rowers can be used by kids of all abilities. Rowers can target lower extremities or upper extremities as separately or together at the same time. Our students love to move and are eager to learn about how their bodies can be healthier too!
