Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our goal is to continue to influence and help our students continue to grow not only educationally but also physically. Our students LOVE playing sports, 4square, Volleyball, Soccer, football, and lastly dodgeball. We actually have a dodgeball team that we are so proud of! Aside from P.E, we also have "Class Game Time" where we have a Program Coordinator Coach that dedicates 30 minutes to each grade level where we play and show the students the proper way to use equipment during recess and also in their everyday lives.

We also focus on teaching students good sportsmanship, team work, a positive attitude and encouragement with sports that they might feel unsure of or intimidated by.

Sports include every kid! Sports have such a positive and healthy impact to our students and we would love and appreciate your support in any way you can!
